Isabel was born on the continent of Australia in Melbourne. Her dad is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her family is from Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community in Northern Territory), Cairns Australia as well as Jabiru in Switzerland. Along with her sister Nina she was a student at schools that included First Nations children as well as children from other cultures. Isabel lives in Byron Bay, NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at the age of 12. After graduating from the Queensland University of Technology she continued her studies in drama at the Victorian College of Arts.
